A busy Festive Season for ‘Good Samaritans’

"I wish other individuals, companies, and business people could come on board to make this project bigger and better."

BOIPATONG. – It was a busy festive holiday with some individuals spending their holidays embarking on charity projects.

Moeketsi Matsoso was one of the individuals who rolled his sleeves to help those who were in need. Matsoso, together with his friends and family prepared food for needy children in Vanderbiljpark, Boipatong, and Tshepiso (Sharpeville).

Ma Twala’s Children Home and Unity’s Children Home are some of the homes they visited to give food packs and party packs. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Matsoso said giving is something always close to his heart. He further said that this will be an annual charity drive to help those who are in need in the community.

“This is close to my heart, to give, especially at this time of the year. I feel grateful to make a difference in the lives of these kids. I was overwhelmed by the love and appreciation they showed when we arrived there,” he concluded.
