Pirates supporters help bury family member

The club supporters have to come together to contribute towards the funeral of the deceased.

SEBOKENG.- Once again, the Orlando Pirates Sebokeng Grater Supporters Branch has rolled its sleeves to help a family in need

They are helping the Mkwanazi-Mthikhulu family to bury their loved ones.

According to Sebokeng Grater Branch spokesperson, Mzwakhe Zondo, the deceased, Mbali Mkwanazi-Mthimkhulu who is aged between 12 and 14 was hit and killed by a car last week Monday, she will be buried this coming Saturday in Zone 12, Sebokeng.

The club supporters have to come together to contribute towards the funeral of the deceased. Zondo told Sedibeng Ster that the club’s branch has created a culture where they help the community. He further added that Orlando Pirates Sebokeng Greater Branch not only goes to the stadium to watch Pirates matches but contributes to the needs of people in the community.

“This branch supports the community’s initiatives and the aim is to help and improve our community. We want to thank everyone kind enough to come on board when we asked for contributions in the form of groceries to help the family. We would also like to thank the Mkwanazi-Mthimkhulu family for allowing us to help in this time when they were going through hard times,” he concluded.
