VANDERBIJLPARK.- NWU Vaal FC chased their shadows for the better part of the game when they suffered a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Vaal Juventus in their backyard on Thursday.
This was during the Safa Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League midweek game with Juventus enjoying all the ball possession for the better part of the game. NWU Vaal Coach, Tebello Kheswa was stunned, he couldn’t believe his eyes at Juventus playing with his side the entire game.

The game went into a half-time break with Juventus leading 3-1. NWU Vaal FC had no answers on how to stop the firing of Juventus FC.
Juventus midfielder, Sibusiso Goba and Vusimuzi Nhlapo were responsible for Juventus’ victory in the middle of the park. The two had an outstanding combination causing all sorts of problems for their opponents creating scoring chances for their strikers.
It was like a boxing match with NWU Vaal FC always against the ropes as Juventus launched attack after attack. As if this is not enough, even the substitutions didn’t bring any changes as Juventus continued with their domination.
NWU Vaal FC’s goalkeeper was the busiest between the two goalkeepers for the better part of the game. Despite conceding 5 goals, the team goalkeeper coach, Avril Phali believes there is still room for improvement from the young goalkeeper.
