The delegation visited Sicelo for road and pothole repairs on Station Road in Meyerton Farms, where road teams are actively addressing road damage caused by factors like wear and tear, weather, traffic loads, and environmental conditions. Teixeira then joined the road marking teams at Jan Neethling in Riversdale, where ongoing work is being done to renew faded markings caused by weather conditions, traffic volume, and vehicle-related chemical spills.

MLM reveals that these upgrades are critical to enhancing road user safety across the municipality.

“Our service delivery teams, including those responsible for weed control, tree and grass cutting, road markings, EPWP, road grading, and pothole patching, are hard at work daily to improve the quality of our roads and infrastructure,” MLM said in a statement. MLM says they remain committed to delivering service excellence and ensuring all areas receive the attention they deserve.
