EVATON – The inaugural Mafube Festival by Motswako Arts Centre promises to take audiences on an unforgettable journey through storytelling that will inspire action against various social ills.
Audiences can expect exceptional performances like The Pen, Leetom, and Still My Views.
Abbey Maeane, Co-founder and Managing Director of Motswako Arts Centre, calls the festival a beacon of hope.
“This festival seeks to create awareness and educate our community on critical social issues.”
Marred by thought-provoking stories, Maeane states that the event will empower positive change through theatre and spark crucial conversations.
The event aligns with crucial events such as World Aids Day, Signing of the Constitution, and 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence.
The festival takes place this Saturday, November 30 from 12:00-17:00 at Motswako Arts Centre 1796 Wright Road Evaton. For more information contact Abbey Maeane on 079 600 9713.
