SAFA Sedibeng President message to Mofokeng and Moremi ahead of Bafana Bafana AFCON match

Messages of support from Sedibeng sport fraternity to two local stars faced with country duty in the AFCON tourney.

SEDIBENG.- The SAFA Sedibeng president, Solly Mkhabela, sent a heartwarming message to the local boys, Relebohile Mofokeng and Tshepang Moremi.

Mofokeng and Moremi are in Morocco to do duty for Bafana Bafana in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where Bafana Bafana started their campaign on a positive note when they beat Angola 2-1 in the opening match on Monday.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Mkhabela urges Vaal people to rally behind Bafana Bafana in support of these two local boys.

He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that, as a region, they are very proud to have two players at AFCON coming from Vaal.

He said this is a remarkable achievement to have representatives from this region in the Bafana Bafana squad.

Mkhabela said SAFA had 52 regions, and some of those regions don’t even have representatives in the Bafana Bafana squad.

“As the SAFA Sedibeng region, we are very excited to have these two youngsters be part of AFCON. I do not doubt that they are going to make all of us proud. They are talented young players and very disciplined to say the least. They are going to be instrumental for Bafana Bafana to bring this AFCON trophy home,” said Mkhabela.

To make it interesting, Mofokeng and Moremi come from the same hometown, Sharpeville.
Sedibeng Ster Sport will bring you all the updates on how the two local youngsters perform at the tournament.
