VEREENIGING – Authorities are investigating a culpable homicide incident that claimed the life of an African woman believed to be aged between 35 and 37.

The accident occurred on the R59 offramp into Voortrekker Road in Vereeniging. Preliminary investigations conducted by the police suggest that the truck struck the roadside barrier after the driver reportedly lost control.
