SEDIBENG.- This was the second international friendly match between these two countries with the first friendly match taking place at Orlando Stadium last Friday where it was a free positive soccer lesson for Banyana Banyana and Brazil beat Banyana 3-0.
Banyana Banyana Coach, Desiree Ellis said these two international friendly games would help her team going forward. Ellis said that it was all about preparation for the World Cup and she is grateful for the kind of opponents that SAFA in conjunction with Sasol, organised for Banyana Banyana .
“These two games gave us an idea of how far we are with our preparations and where to improve our team. It is not about results but using these games in preparation for the World Cup and I’m happy that we learned a lot from them. We can only improve from here going forward,” she said.
