Body discovered in river at Vosloo Park

A body of a man was discovered in Kliprivier at Vosloo Park on Wednesday, April 26.

VEREENIGING. – Sedibeng Ster learnt that a body of a man was discovered in the river by a passer-by between 17:00 and 18:00 on Wednesday afternoon.

The man informed the police.

According to const. Tlaleng Moloi, a police spokesperson, said the police arrived at the scene near the corner of Brandmuller Drive and Golf Street around 18:30 and found the body floating in the water.

Police divers apparently already pulled the body out of the river on Wednesday evening.

It is suspected that the body had already been in the water for about a week before it was discovered.

The deceased is a male person.

The police are busy with a judicial death investigation.
