Car, truck & taxi collision leaves 4 injured

VEREENIGING.- Four people were injured when a car, truck, taxi collided on Boy Louw Road, Vereeniging.

The incident occurred on Friday, August 04.

In a statement Community Emergency Response Teams (Cert-SA) said upon arrival, they found a car, a truck and a taxi that was involved.

“We found four patients on scene of which one was a child and three were adults. Luckily, they all sustained mild to moderate injuries and they were all transported to nearby facilities by ER24.”

According to Cert-SA the truck driver lost control and moved over to the oncoming traffic when he collided with a vehicle and a taxi.

In a separate incident on Friday, five people were injured following a motor vehicle accident on the R54 just past Vaal Marina.

According to Cert-SA one vehicle had lost control and rolled.

“There were five patients on the scene, but only three were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.”
