A Mi7 client in  Bisley requested assistance after he, and other members of the community, apprehended a man accused of poaching.

It is believed the man, along with an accomplice, slaughtered a giraffe from a reserve in the Bisley area.

The duo were spotted with parts of the carcass in their vehicle when vigilant community members took action.

Mi7 Reaction Officers assisted to find and apprehend the second suspect.

The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation. We applaud the vigilance and bravery of the community members and all other roleplayers whose actions resulted in the arrest.
