SEBOKENG. – A murder investigation is underway after a 17-year-old man was shot dead in Zone 12, Sebokeng on Sunday.

Sebokeng police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane, said that it is alleged that the young man was from an event around Sebokeng when he was shot by unknown suspect/s.

“Only gunshots were heard by community members, but no one saw the suspect/s. According to his blood trails, he was shot a few kilometers away from where he died,” said Mokhachane.

Investigations are ongoing and police urge the community to come forward with any information that can assist them with the investigation.
