Street intervention campaign

The organisers engaged with the community and had a talk about the crimes committed in Vaal Marina policing area.

SEDIBENG.- The Vaal Marina SAPS’ Social Crime Prevention Coordinator together with Agape Lerato community services conducted a ‘Street Intervention’ campaign in the area last week.

The organisers engaged with the community and had a talk about the crimes committed in Vaal Marina policing area and:

▪ Causes of those crimes
▪ How they can assist the police as a community or work together with the police on preventing such crimes
▪ An Agape Social Worker explained to the community of their services.

Police spokesperson, Constable Tshilidzi de Huis said that safety tips pamphlets were also distributed.
