Sebokeng SAPS and community members commemorate Mandela Day

The initiative was done in order to give support to the cleaners and grounds men at the police station who are always making sure that the station is clean.

SEBOKENG. – The commemoration of Mandela Day was celebrated by the Sebokeng SAPS members together with the members of the community at the station in Sebokeng yesterday, Friday.

Those in attendance celebrated Nelson Mandela’s 67 minutes by cleaning inside the yard of the police station and the building.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said that the initiative was done in order to give support to the cleaners and grounds men at the police station who are always making sure that the station is clean.

“The Station Management was impressed about this initiative and applauded the members for doing something different from their daily duties,” Mokhachane said.
