Large parts of Vanderbijl again without power
Thousands of residents from various neighbourhoods have been affected by this and are wondering how long the repairs will take.
Several residents fear that they will again be without power for days or weeks, and shared the reasons and their displeasure on social media.

The reason for the outage is that a fire broke out at the Town Substation just after midnight.
One resident reported that they only heard a “pop” sound, and then the power went out.
The fire was extinguished, but the damage and how long it will take to repair could not yet be determined.
