SEDIBENG.- The Sedibeng Jazz Foundation (SJF) recently held a policy conference at White House in Debonair Park, De Deur.

SJF’s Happy Nape said that the purpose of the conference was to discuss their constitution and code of conduct.

“We are very happy with the turnout of the conference. It was attended by all chairmen and secretaries of Sedibeng Jazz clubs affiliated to SJF. We were also visited by a company that would like to sponsor us as time goes on.”

Nape said that there are exciting times ahead for SJF and there are major announcements that they would be making in the future.

“We request Sedibeng businesses to play a role to uplift jazz in Sedibeng. We also thank your paper (Sedibeng Ster) for the exceptional job you are doing by taking our jazz sessions seriously.”
