Vehicle left at ‘Phuma’s’ after owner allegedly hijacked

Residents apparently witnessed the alleged kidnapping and police were called to the scene.

SHARPEVILLE.- An owner of a Hyundai SUV was apparently kidnapped and bundled into a Toyota Quantum taxi in Phumasbethane Informal Settlement, commonly known as ‘Phuma’s’, Sharpeville this morning.

Residents apparently witnessed the alleged kidnapping and police were called to the scene. Police spokesperson, Constable Busisiwe Sango confirmed the discovery of the car that had blood stains.
