Itireleng Parks Team cleans Mphene’s house
"This is our commitment to make this township one of the best townships in Sedibeng.”
BOIPATONG.- The Itireleng Parks Team was hard at work cleaning the house of Aupa Mphene last Thursday.
Sedibeng Ster ran the article about Mphene’s house that was allegedly burned by his stepson recently.

It was in September when Mphene’s house was burned down while he was away and he was called by the neighbours who informed him about the incident. When he arrived, he found the house in the midst of smoke with the neighbours trying to fight the fire. A case was opened with the Boipatong SABPS and Mphene by then confirmed to Sedibeng Ster that the house was indeed set on fire by his stepson. He said this was after he, Mphene, had an argument with his stepson’s mother a day before this incident happened
.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Parks Mofokeng said they took the initiative as the Itireleng Parks Team to clean the house seeing that Mphene is unemployed.
“As Parks teams we decided to clean the house because since September nothing happened. The conditions of the house were still the same and Mphene was still sleeping in the same conditions. I want to thank my team for their commitment to make a difference in Boipatong, cleaning the township, streets, open spaces, schools and elderly people yards. This is our commitment to make this township one of the best townships in Sedibeng,” he said.

Mphene, said he wants to thank the Parks Team for their kindness, and cleaning his house. He told Sedibeng Ster that he didn’t know where to start from but the Itireleng Parks Team came to his rescue.
“I will forever be grateful for what the Itireleng Parks Team has done for me and I know their commitment is to clean the whole Boipatong area. I want to thank them from bottom of my heart,” concluded Mphene.
