Vaal community rallies behind beloved business owner

This event, organized by friends and supporters, aims to raise funds to assist Jackie with her medical expenses after being diagnosed with cancer.

SASOLBURG. – A fundraising event, Blue-Ribbon Fest, is scheduled to take place on November 30 at Jackie’s Pub and Grill Restaurant in support of well-known Vaal Triangle resident, Jackie Viljoen.
Jackie, co-founder and owner of Jackie’s Pub, was diagnosed with colon cancer in October, after suffering severe pain for months.

The event, organized by friends and supporters, aims to raise funds to assist Jackie with her medical expenses. Her medical aid has declined coverage due to a waiting period, leaving her with significant out-of-pocket costs.

The Blue-Ribbon Fest promises to be an entertaining event for the whole family, featuring live music, food stalls, merchandise sales, and activities for children. Entrance is free, and all profits and donations will go directly towards supporting Jackie.
