SEBOKENG.- Boitumelo Sport NPC hosted a chess training session in Boitumelo over the past weekend.

This initiative saw community members, young and old coming in numbers to be part of this event.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Joseph Manzi who was behind this initiative, said the purpose was to keep young and old people busy during the festive holidays. Manzi said young people are idling at this time of the year, so the initiative was meant to keep them busy.

“The training was conducted by a gentleman called, Thabiso, the Boitumelo Chess Coordinator. I must say it was a great success and the attendance was positive from the community. We want to thank everyone who was part of this initiative,” he said.
