Sukuma Lutsha hosts successful ‘Fitmas’

The challenge saw participants in Christmas colours and hats.

SEBOKENG.- Sukuma Lutsha hosted a ‘Fitmas’ – a festive challenge designed to keep the community active.

This event took place on Christmas day at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Centre in Zone 14, Sebokeng.

The challenge saw participants in Christmas colours and hats. The festive season offers Sukuma Lutsha an opportunity to reach out to people in numbers, particularly youth. They want to teach them about the significance of keeping healthy.

The organisers said that most young people are not available during the year to gain exposure to their programmes because of school commitments and some due to work commitments.

“On Christmas day most of them are at home and easy to reach in numbers. As Sukuma Lutsha we teach people that a strong fitness community gives people a sense of belonging. This camaraderie can be essential, giving you the motivation to stay on track even when things get hard.”
