SEDIBENG.- Expect the mother of all battles when the Orlando Pirates reserve team hosts the DSTV Diski Challenge log leaders, Stellenbosch, at Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark, today, Saturday.

Pirates’ babies are in sixth position on the log and are up against the high-riding Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch is at the top of the log with 41 points after they played 18 games. Kaizer Chiefs are in second position. Amakhosi’s babies have accumulated 39 points from 17 games they played so far this season.

This is a must-win game for Stellenbosch if they entertain any hopes of staying at the top of the log.

But having said this, they are up against a team desperate to close the gap at the top. This is going to be an interesting encounter come Saturday. Pirates have played the same number of games as Stellenbosch and have collected 31 points. They are struggling to close the gap at the top losing against the likes of Sekhukhune United in previous games.

The young Mighty Buccaneers have to dig deep if they want to beat Stellies. They are the team to beat this season.
