VEREENIGING – Rising star Chloé-Jade Christian, former Miss Teen Earth International, was selected to speak at the prestigious Forbes Woman Africa Leading Women Summit 2025, a platform celebrating and empowering women across industries.
This milestone marks a significant step in her journey as a model, musician, and advocate for self empowerment.
Expressing her excitement, Chloé-Jade said: “I couldn’t believe it when my mom told me. I felt honoured to share my story.”
The summit, took place on March 5 at Times Square, Pretoria.
Chloé-Jade discussed her experiences with bullying and discrimination, and how it shaped her.
She hopes her talk will inspire others by sharing how modelling helped her regain confidence and how music became her voice.
“The fact that the only speakers were women tells you the type of empowerment the event has,” she said.
She strongly believes in the resilience and strength of African women.
“A strong African woman embodies wisdom and perseverance. Her strength lies in uplifting others and navigating life with grace and determination.”
Chloé-Jade admires fellow speakers Zozibini Tunzi and Yvonne Chaka Chaka.
“Zozibini inspires me to stay true to myself and advocate for gender equality.
Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s passion for helping others motivates me to use my talents for positive impact.”
She emphasises the importance of women supporting each other.
“To achieve our dreams, we need to stand together. Healing, learning, and growing become easier when we uplift one another.”
Self-love and faith have been crucial in her journey.
“Self-love allows you to prioritise your needs, set boundaries, and build better relationships. My faith in God gives me the strength to keep moving forward. I believe everything happens for a reason.”
Chloé-Jade’s path is a testament to perseverance and passion.
Her participation in the summit has inspired many, reinforcing the event’s mission to uplift women across Africa and beyond.
“I take every opportunity and follow my heart,” she concluded.
