SEDIBENG.- Perfect Academy will take a short trip to visit VUT FC this coming Saturday.

It is going to be a “do or die” affair with both sides wanting to close the gap at the top. These two sides will meet in the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League match at Isak Steyl Stadium on Saturday.

Kickoff time is at 15:00.

This game will follow the DStv Diski Challenge match between Orlando Pirates and Amazulu.

The encounter between Perfect and VUT FC promises to be fireworks considering their positions on the log. The two sides come into this encounter with mixed results. Perfect Academy beat Army FC 5-0 over the weekend and VUT FC suffered a 2-1 defeat to RESA. It is going to be an exciting game to watch.

At some point, Perfect Academy was at the summit of the log but things have changed.

To date, Young Pirates FC is the defending champions after being crowned the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League overall winner last season. Will history repeat itself this time around?

Perfect Academy’s head coach, Sechaba Mofokeng, told Sedibeng Ster Sport that this is going to be a hell of the game come Saturday.

“Believe it or not, this is one game that will determine who is going to be crowned the league champions at the end of the season. I know that Young Pirates FC will be watching this game with key interest with the hope that VUT FC wins for obvious reasons. They lead us with five points. We can’t afford to lose this game. It is a must-win game for us if we entertain any hopes of putting pressure on them at the top.”
