It was a great afternoon outing for soccer fans, with an exciting game to watch.Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Thabang Rooi was one of the notable faces who played in this exhibition game.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Organiser, Steve Mofubetsoane, hailed this match as a success.
He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that he was overwhelmed by the positive response from the Vaal community. Mofubetsoane said they will travel to Botswana in November to face the Dragon Masters in their home country.
“We want to thank everyone who came to support this initiative. I believe next year we will include curtain-raisers in the form of development teams. We will invite some local development teams to be part of the event before the main game. We want to thank the Botswana Masters for coming to visit us. This is the beginning of the good things to come. I do not doubt that this project will grow to be better and bigger,” said Mofubetsoane.
