Man’s body found next to Azania stream

The members found a decomposed body of a man in his late forties floating in the stream.

SEBOKENG.-  The Sebokeng police have opened an inquest after a man’s body was found floating in a stream next to Azania, in Sebokeng, on Monday.

The police were summoned to Azania where it was alleged that a human body was seen floating in the stream, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane, Sebokeng police spokesperson, said.

“On arrival at the scene, the members found a decomposed body of a man in his late forties floating in the stream. He was declared dead by the EMS and taken to Forensic Pathology Services for further investigation.”

The police plead with the public to assist in locating the family of the deceased, and if anyone has recently reported their loved one as missing, they are requested to go to Sebokeng SAPS for further assistance.

Furthermore, anyone who witnessed the incident or with further information can contact Sebokeng SAPS anonymously on 082 498 9563, 112, 08600 10111, 10111 or via MySAPS.
