Sergeant Lukhele goes the extra mile to apprehend suspect
Five packets of drugs and a brown knife found in his wallet were confiscated.
SEDIBENG.– A suspect will soon appear in the Meyerton Magistrate’s Court on charges of dealing in drugs and possession of a dangerous weapon.
On June 11, acting Vispol commander Sergeant Bongani Lukhele of Vaal Marina SAPS acted on an anonymous tip-off that there was a man dealing in drugs in the area. Police spokesperson, Constable Tshilidzi de Huis, explained that Lukhele investigated the tip-off with no success, but further investigations led to the suspect’s arrest in a taxi from Vereeniging, going to Vaal Marina.
