DA calls on empowerment of young South Africans ahead of Youth Day
The DA has called for bold action to empower South Africa’s youth and honour the legacy of 1976.
As South Africa commemorates Youth Day, the DA Emfuleni Central Constituency has called for urgent action to address the growing challenges facing the country’s youth.
Honouring the legacy of the 1976 generation, the party highlighted issues such as poverty, unemployment, poor education, and substance abuse that continue to undermine young people’s futures.
The DA is urging all stakeholders to work together to improve education, drive job creation, and invest in skills development and entrepreneurship.
“Young South Africans deserve real opportunities and safe communities in which to thrive,” said Cllr Dady Mollo, the DA’s political head in the Emfuleni Central Constituency.
