SEBOKENG.- 24-year-old local, Maria Leboea is a finalist of Miss Curvalicious.

Founded by in 2022, Miss Curvalicious SA is a national pageant held annually that aims to appreciate and recognise the unique talent amongst plus-size women from across the country.

In the event contestants showcase their beauty and flair.

Leboea told Sedibeng Ster that she is a passionate model who blossomed during her high school days when she participated in a beauty pageant and was honoured to be the 2nd princess.

“This experience ignited my love for this field and propelled me towards pursuing larger platforms. This year, I embarked on a thrilling new chapter by entering Miss Curvalicious SA. I am very proud to be a finalist for this esteemed competition which provides a stage to celebrate and acknowledge the talent of plus-size ladies across South Africa, highlighting beauty, fashion, leadership, and resilience on the runway.”

The competition culminates in a grand final on November 1.
