Lesako set to return to Naturena
Lesako was recommended to Chiefs development by his former development team from Vanderbijlpark in the Vaal.
SEDIBENG.- Vaal youngster Lebohang ‘Guluva’ Lesako is set to return to his former club Kaizer Chiefs.
Sedibeng Ster Sport has learned that Chiefs has already engaged in the negotiation to bring this exciting Casrics midfielder back to Naturena.
Lesako was released from the club after their former coach Stuart Baxter made it clear that him and other youngsters were not part of his plan. Then Chiefs loaned him to the Motsepe Foundation Championship club Unthongathi FC for a season.
After the season ended, he returned to his current club, Casric. He was one of the best performers for Casric.

Lesako and other players played a significant role for Chiefs when they qualified for CAF Champions League final. This was despite the fact that, FIFA banned Chiefs to sign a player for the season and the club had to rely on their development players.
Lesako was one of those players who were promoted to the first team from the club’s development group to the reserved team and later joined the senior team. However, Chiefs loaned Lesako to Unthongathi FC after he failed to impress Baxter. As they say the rest is history, and Chiefs is key to return the boy to Naturena.
Lesako was recommended to Chiefs development by his former development team from Vanderbijlpark in the Vaal.
To date, Lesako had a short sting with Jomo Cosmos development, as well as Maroka Swallows. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, a source who is close to both parties confirmed to this newspaper that Lesako might be on the books of Chiefs again soon.
“There have been interesting developments to bring the boy back to Naturena and at the moment it is work in progress. Don’t forget Lebo grew up here at Chiefs and he won’t struggle to fit in. He has been here since he was young and I’m confident that we will secure his signature. He is one of the most talented players to have come from our development structures, “said a source that is close to the club.
