Confiscated liquor disposed in Sedibeng District

A decrease of liquor has probably saved some people who could have been GBV victims.

SEDIBENG.-  The Sedibeng District SAPS officially disposed liquor that was confiscated from different policing precincts in Sedibeng District on Friday.

The initiative was attended by police officers from Sedibeng District, Evaton, Kliprivier. Meyerton, Orange Farms, Ratanda, Sebokeng and Vanderbijlpark, as well as Gauteng Traffic Wardens and CPF.

Vispol Commander of Sebokeng SAPS, Colonel Stofina Mofokeng led the demonstration of the liquor disposal process, highlighting the collaborative efforts of various police stations throughout the district.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said that through the dedication of the members, Sedibeng District will be safer for all.

Colonel Stofina Mofokeng further emphasized that the disposal event forms part of SAPS’s ongoing efforts, in partnership with local stakeholders, to ensure compliance with liquor regulations and promote public safety in the Sedibeng District.
