SEDIBENG.-12-year-old, Mbalenhle Mbele, is a talented, driven young model and an emerging fashion designer with a passion for creativity and performance.

Having entered the modelling industry at just nine years old, Mbele has already made a name for herself on the South African pageant and fashion scene. Mbele is currently representing Gauteng in the prestigious Ms Golden Heart South Africa 2025 pageant, which will take place in East London in October.

Speaking about her daughter, Motlagomang Mbele, the young beauty’s mother said, “Mbali’s success is a result of her own hard work and dedication. I am extremely proud of the young woman she is becoming. I guide her, but she is self-motivated.”

The young model’s journey reflects a blend of confidence, discipline, and artistic flair.

She holds the title of Miss Diamond of the Vaal Petite 2023, was crowned 2nd Runner-Up in the Miss Tween Sedibeng Pageant, and became a finalist for Ms Golden Heart South Africa. These accolades highlight her dedication and ability to shine on stage as her creativity extends beyond modelling. In 2023, she won the prestigious Vaal Fashion Designer of the Year (Untrained Designer Category), showcasing her natural talent for design and fashion innovation even at a young age.

Her key achievements include:

“My daughter has a strong stage presence and confidence. She is an excellent communicator and has good presentation skills. She is also a creative thinker with a flair for fashion design who is passionate about empowering other young girls through modelling and fashion,” said the mother.

The young girl aims to continue growing her modelling portfolio while further developing her skills in fashion design. She dreams of walking international runways and one day launching her own fashion label that inspires young girls across South Africa and beyond.
