ELFA to host CAF D-License Coaching Course to empower local coaches

“We urge local coaches, especially those who work with development, to come in numbers to attend this coaching course."

SEDIBENG.- The Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) in conjunction with SAFA Sedibeng will host a CAF D-License Coaching Course.

This coaching course is scheduled to take place at Rand Water in Vereeniging from August 25 to September 2. This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by the ELFA Technical Officer, Paul Motsepe.

Motsepe said the closing date for coaches to apply for this coaching course is August 20. Motsepe said he expects a huge number of local and outside coaches to attend this course. He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that this coaching course is part of an ongoing process to empower and educate local development coaches.

He said there is a serious need to educate development coaches to secure a better future for South African football.

“We urge local coaches, especially those who work with development, to come in numbers to attend this coaching course. It is important for local coaches to attend this course because it will benefit not only them but the development of football in this region.

As the Emfuleni Local Football Association our duty is to empower our coaches. This is not the first coaching course we will be hosting. We have hosted several coaching courses in the past,” concluded Motsepe.
