BOITUMELO. – The township of Boitumelo, in Sebokeng, seems to be bursting at the seams with lyrical talent.

One such talent to come from the township is 32-year-old Nhlanhla Xaba aka Junia.

A rapper, Hip Hop artist, song writer and producer all in one, Junia started doing Hip Hop music in 2012 at Polokong’s C Hood Records, led by Eva Blaze. He was well known for the song ‘Super Star’ at Boitumelo High School. He then started to take his career seriously, he told Sedibeng Ster, in 2024.

“Currently I have a single called ‘All alone’. Which I recorded in my room because I couldn’t afford a studio and many producers are expensive, so I ended up using what I have than to wait forever.”

The single is called, ‘Bampatla kae?’.

“I’m a very passionate Hip Hop artist, dedicated to sharing my voice, experience and to inspire youth through music. I create authentic and captivating songs that heals people.”
