EVATON. – The Evaton police are investigating a case of murder after a man, 56, was found murdered in Evaton West, Extension 5 on Friday.

It is said that on Friday, at about 21:10, the deceased was found dead in his yard, next to the gate, in Evaton West Ext 5.

He had sustained two gunshots in his chest.

“According to a witness, he saw the two suspects running to a vehicle after he heard gunshots. The motive (for the killing) is unknown, and no suspects were arrested as yet,” said police spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi.
