Grandparents honoured at Assumpta

"The role of the grandparents go beyond their own families as they shape the values of our learners and ensure that traditions and moral values are passed down from generation to generation."

SHARPEVILLE.- Assumpta Primary School was filled with joy and laughter as learners and staff came together to honor the grandparents of Sharpeville community.

The Principal of the school, Zenzo Ncube expressed his deep admiration of the elderly women and men who continue to anchor families and communities.

Ncube said, “The role of the grandparents go beyond their own families as they shape the values of our learners and ensure that traditions and moral values are passed down from generation to generation.”

Local Priest, Father Thabo Sefuli, opened the event with a heartfelt prayer.
