BOIPATONG.- DR Nhlapo Primary School bade farewell to one of the longest serving educator, Nomvula Mbongo.

Having started teaching in 1983, this year, Mbongo handed in the baton recently.

Abiel Mogoera, the school principal, thanked Mbongo for her dedication, passion, enthusiasm and selflessness to the profession and the school in particular.

“Thanks for uplifting the lives of our children. Have a fruitful rest Madam, you have worked hard. This was like climbing a mountain of life, I would imagine, and you have reached the peak to have a beautiful view of life.”

In return, Mbongo thanked everyone who played a role in her professional life throughout all the years and promised to avail herself in anyway as and when needed by the school.
