NWU Vaal hosts log leaders

SEDIBENG.- The expectations are high ahead of the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League fixture between NWU Vaal FC and log leaders Perfect Academy.

All eyes will be on the NWU Vaal Campus this Saturday.

Kick-off is set for 13:00.

Perfect Academy currently sits comfortably at the top of the table with 30 points from 11 games. However, the chasing pack will be rooting for the university side this weekend. If NWU Vaal can manage a win or even a draw, it will allow the teams below to close the gap.

Metro Stars FC and Ben 10 FC are both tied on 26 points, separated only by a goal difference.

Ben 10 FC holds a slight advantage with a game in hand.

The game between NWU Vaal FC and Perfect Academy has since drawn attention with local soccer fans anticipating an exciting encounter as both teams have shown they can play attacking, high-quality football.

Despite being league newcomers, NWU Vaal FC is currently sitting in eighth place with 16 points. They earned their spot in the regional league after an exceptional performance in the Promotion play-offs.
