Sebokeng’s own Esihle Magogo set for Afro-Pop stardom
She is inspired by township culture and contemporary African sounds.

SEBOKENG.- At just 14 years old, local talent Esihle Magogo is proving that age is nothing but a number as she takes the South African music scene by storm.
The Grade Nine learner from Crystal Springs Combined School is already being hailed as one of the brightest rising stars in Afro-Pop.

Magogo is expected to drop her single album Ndiyakhanya next month, produced by Symon Maguire.

Lucky Magogo, founder of Luciano Records, told Sedibeng Ster that Esihle is a unique talent who must be monitored with care.
“Esihle is a gifted young girl, and I do not doubt that she is going to be a big superstar representing young people in music.”

Her sound reflects youth culture, love, and real-life experiences, creating music that connects deeply with the new generation.
She is inspired by township culture and contemporary African sounds; she fuses smooth Afro-Pop melodies with the energetic pulse three step creates a unique and refreshing sound. For example, in one of her standout three-step releases, Esihle collaborated with Okwanda, the hitmaker behind Phatha Phata and Confession.
She has established her presence in the evolving South African music scene,” said Magogo (Lucky).
