Three suspects sought for hijacking and abduction

They were approached by three men with firearms wearing balaclavas.

SEBOKENG.- A case of hijacking and abduction is being investigated by the Sebokeng police after two women were hijacked on Monday in Zone 12.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane, said that it was alleged by the complainant that her mother and her friend were sitting inside her friend’s vehicle, and while they were still inside the vehicle, they were approached by three men with firearms wearing balaclavas.

“The suspects climbed inside the victim’s vehicle and they drove off with both of them. The suspects were driving a white Nissan hardbody with unknown registrations. One shot was fired through the window.”

The victims were found the following in Lakeside by the De Deur SAPS Gauteng Traffic Wardens jumping the railway line near Lakeside.

They were allegedly held captive overnight in Orange Farm.

The vehicle was also recovered in Lenasia, stripped of some of its parts.

No one has been arrested.
