Social Development hosts school holiday programme

EVATON. – The Gauteng Department of Social Development’s Evaton Integrated Facility Service Centre hosted a two-day school holiday programme for local children last week.

The department said that the programme provided the children with engaging activities during their break, in line with the Child Protection 365 Days initiative.

“Children participating in the programme have been receiving fire safety training, particularly relevant during the winter season, and have been advised to prioritise their safety and assert their boundaries by refusing unwanted touch in uncomfortable situations.”
