VANDERBIJLPARK.- The Gauteng Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Jacob Mamabolo, engaged with the Executive Mayor of Emfuleni Local Municipality, Hassan Mako, the Mayoral Committee, the Executive Management Team (EMT), and municipal staff during an Imbizo in Vanderbijlpark on Wednesday.

Following the announcement of the new Mayoral Committee after the election of the Executive Mayor, the Imbizo was said to be an opportunity for Mamabolo to congratulate them.

“We wish them well, and reaffirm our full support as we work together to serve our communities.”

The meeting also provided feedback on concerns raised by employees during last year’s COGTA Imbizos and creates an opportunity to identify and address ongoing staff challenges.
