Midvaal unveils new fleet to strengthen service delivery

Fourteen new vehicles have joined Midvaal's municipal fleet.

MEYERTON – The Midvaal Local Municipality has added 14 new vehicles to its fleet, which it says will improve service delivery and support infrastructure maintenance across the municipality.

According to the municipality, the expanded fleet will assist municipal teams in responding more quickly to maintenance and operational requirements.

The new vehicles include a tractor loader backhoe (TLB) and bakkies for the Water Section, where they will be used to support maintenance and operational activities.

The Sewer Section will receive single-cab and double-cab bakkies, which the municipality says will improve response times for sewer-related services.

Single-cab bakkies have also been allocated to the Purification Section to assist operational teams with their daily responsibilities.

The municipality said it will continue investing in its vehicle fleet to improve its capacity to respond to service delivery needs across Midvaal.
