Murder next to Kwa-Masiza

SEBOKENG.- Police are investigating a murder after the body of an unknown man was found with gunshot wounds next to the Kwa-Masiza Stadium on Monday morning.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane, said that officers rushed to an open veld near the stadium on August 10. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of a man lying on the ground with visible wounds on his forehead and chest.

“The man was wearing a green jacket, black jeans, white sneakers and a brown belt. He was declared dead on scene by the emergency medical services, who confirmed the injuries were gunshot wounds,” Mokhachane explained.

The motive for the shooting is not known.

The deceased has been taken to Forensic Pathology Services for further investigation.

As the motive for the shooting remains unknown, the police are appealing to members of the public to come forward with any information that could help the investigation.
