Sedibeng Jukskei Senior Team comes home with bronze medal

"I want to thank our provincial sports department and the Gauteng Jukskei Federation, both stakeholders who made our trip a success."

SEDIBENG.- Sedibeng Jukskei Team finished in third place in the South Africa National Seniors Jukskei Academy Championships.

This national championship took place in Kroonstad from February 23 to 27.

The team brought home a bronze medal after competing against various provinces.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Joseph Manzi, who is the man behind the team’s success, said finishing third in the competition was a remarkable achievement for the team.

He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that the standard of the competition was on another level, competing against the best in the country. He said he is proud of the team.

“I must say we didn’t go there to add numbers but to compete, and finishing in third position is a big achievement for us. We were outstanding for the better part of the tournament, and we could have even won the championship. I want to take this opportunity to also thank our participants who performed very well throughout the tournament. I do not doubt that next year we are going to do better and even bring a trophy home,” said Manzi.
