Vila’s vision to stun Sedibeng league powerhouses

BOIPATONG.- Thabang ‘Vila’ Mphuti is probably the youngest coach challenging for the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League title.
The 31-year-old manager has made many people pause and reflect after turning Boipatong FC into a force to be reckoned with in the league this season. Boipatong FC is currently challenging for the Regional League title and sits at the top of the table with just one match remaining. As things stand, the team will finish either first or second in the standings.
This means Boipatong FC will represent SAFA Sedibeng in the upcoming Gauteng Inter-Regional play-offs, which Sedibeng is scheduled to host in May/ June. The Boipatong-based side has been at the summit of the league table for some time now, thanks to Mphuti, who holds a SAFA C Coaching License.

Despite his age and lack of coaching experience, he has stunned many veterans of the game and demonstrated a strong desire to achieve greatness in local football. His squad is now one of the best teams in the league, challenging local powerhouses such as Perfect Academy, Metro Stars FC, and Ben 10 FC.
If Boipatong gains promotion to the ABC Motsepe League, Mphuti, who is a former footballer himself, will become the first young coach from the region to achieve this feat. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Mphuti explained that it was always his dream to become a professional player, but it didn’t happen.
He believes the best way to accomplish his dream now is by helping these youngsters reach the bigger stages of football.

Mphuti credited his squad, stating that they have a young, hardworking team that wants to make history for themselves and make Boipatong FC proud.
“Football is my life, and I never showed interest in anything else. Now I want to help these youngsters to make their dreams come true in a special way. It is teamwork, and thanks to our chairman, Mr Maloka, for making things easy for all of us here at the club. Bra Gab is the man with a big plan for this team and the Boipatong community,” said Mphuti.
