SEDIBENG.- The ABC Motsepe League newcomers, Ben 10 FC and Boipatong FC, will start their fixtures away from home.

These two Vaal representatives will play away when the ABC Motsepe League kicks off on the last weekend of September.

Boipatong FC will play against JBM FC at Nike Centre on September 25, while Ben 10 FC will play against SSU M-17 FC on September 26.  Both teams will be competing in Stream A. They have been involved in a series of high-profile pre-season friendly matches in preparation for the ABC Motsepe League.

For example, Boipatong FC played against Mamelodi Sundowns as part of their pre-season preparations. The two teams also played against each other despite being in the same stream.

Local soccer fans cannot wait for the season to start to support their favourite teams, especially when these two face each other in the league.

It is going to be an exciting derby.

Ben 10 FC and Boipatong FC were automatically promoted to this league.

The two will continue their rivalry that started in the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League. Ben 10 FC and Boipatong FC were automatically promoted to this league after finishing first and second respectively in the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League.

This was after SAFA decided not to relegate teams in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League at the end of last season. The six teams from the five SAFA regions were automatically promoted to the ABC Motsepe League.
