Rele Mofokeng inspires his Belgian side to a victory

The ball simply refused to leave his magic feet.

SEDIBENG.- Young South African star Relebohile Mofokeng came off the bench to inspire his Belgian team, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, to a comfortable 3-0 victory against KFC Nijlen, sending them through to the last 16 of the Belgian Cup.

The forward entered the pitch in the 64-minute with the score goalless and immediately changed the game when his side was in desperate need of a breakthrough.

He provided a brilliant assist to teammate Besfort Zeneli before playing a pre-assist for Kamiel Van de Perre’s third goal.

The ball simply refused to leave his magic feet.

Born in Sharpeville, Mofokeng had the freedom of the pitch, bossing his way forward with superb touches as if he owned the field.

This left spectators with the feeling that the ball simply refused to leave his magic feet.

This is the kind of stellar performance that secured his move to Saint-Gilloise following the FIFA World Cup 2026. Previously, he shone as a star player when Orlando Pirates were crowned Premiership champions.

Mofokeng is expected to be in action once again when Saint-Gilloise face Hapoel Beer Sheva in the UEFA Europa League on October 22.
