ER24 reports that a 22-year-old woman was assaulted-and-killed this morning at her residence in Winston Park, Hillcrest.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find local security forces already in attendance.Inside the home, paramedics found the woman lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

Paramedics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained a serious head wound and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for her and she was declared dead.

It is believed that the woman was hit on the head with a brick. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
