VEREENIGING – The Mekayla Memorial NPC founder Anne-Marie Slabbert has expressed gratitude following the great success of the soup drive which took place on July 20 in Leeuhof.

Slabbert says that the success of the event is as a result of all the sponsors and the community volunteers who worked together to ensure that beneficiaries have a memorable.

“I would like to express a sincere thank you to everyone who supported our soup drive. Though it was just one day, the impact it had on our community was truly heartwarming.

“With the help of kind-hearted volunteers and generous donors, we were able to serve warm, nourishing meals to both young and old in need. The smiles and gratitude we received reminded us that sometimes, even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference.”
